Whirlpool Corporation sponsors a yearly Habitat for Humanity building project for its employees and select local Habitat for Humanity affiliates. In 2009, Whirlpool built 8 new Habitat homes in an Atlanta area community. As part of local affiliate marketing, a logo was created to exemplify the community, as well as a press kit and event materials. A definitive success, the project offered unique opportunities for Whirlpool brand to give back to others.
